Southern literary fiction has taken another direct hit this month with the passing of Anne Rivers Siddons on September 11th. Ms. Siddons works, including ‘Up Island’, ‘The Girls of August’ ‘Burnt Mountain’, and ‘Peachtree Road’ to name a few, always gave her readers something to ponder. First Dottie (9/2/19), and now Anne.
