Pelican’s Pick of the Week

I find it interesting what the other parts of the world are reading!!!  Number one in Italy is “The First Light of Morning'”  Germany, “The Hundred Year Old Man who Climbed Out his Window and Disappeared”by Jonas Jonasson,  in France “The Help by Kathryn Stockett and in Britain “Before I Go To Sleep” by S.J. Watson which is available in the US in paperback February 7.  We read this book and it is truly a good read.

Kristin Hannah has released her new book “Home Front” about a mother and wife that is deployed to the Middle East.  (Gorgeous cover).  Dead Low Tide by Bret Lott set in Charleston is going to be a summer hit.  Pat Conroy says “The best book Bret Lott has ever written-by far.”
